Sea Urchin - 1
Sea Urchin

The ‘Objects for an Ideal Home’ series is inspired by a 1999 music album — in the electronica genre, as it was labeled in the mid 90s — by that name.

‘Objects for an Ideal Home’ was produced and released by the Danish musician Opiate (Thomas Knak) on record abel April Records. In 2009 a 20th year anniversary edition was released by ‘Bit-Phalanx Music’ in a remastered version.

From May 15 to June 14, 2024 Independent & Image Art Space (Chongqing, China) presents the “Black & White International Photography Exhibition”.

This exhibition celebrates the depth and subtlety of black-and-white artistry, inviting viewers into a world where shades speak louder than colors. In the photographic works of artists from around the world, color steps back, the stark contrasts of black and white come forward, telling tales, evoking emotions, and offering new perspectives. This exhibition is a stage for those stories, captured in the timeless dance of light and shadow, to be told and admired.

Participating artists: Allen Vu, Anna Archinger, Anthony Marino, Antonis Tsoulos, Carloalberto Treccani, Francis O'Shaughnessy, Hao Yuehan, Hung Ching Yan Fion, Igal Stulbach, Jason Tannen, Johnny Tang, Juliette Pelletier, Kasper Bergholt, Kata Kerényi, Liu Mingyue, Maria Coletsis, Myriam Véjus, Richard Bentley, Rosendo Sánchez, Ruth & Laurent De Ras, Sean Lockwood, Sebastian Bahr, Shayne House, Simone Frau, Stephanie Ng, Syl Arena, Thierry Lagnel, Wilson Song, Yaroslav Pavlov, Zhou HanShun.
