Transparent Sweet Pea flowers are preserved inside a glass apothecary show globe. Stripped of its cells and identifiable hues, the plant inside ceases to be recognized as a traditional plant. Viewers observe a ghostly shell of its original anatomy, a state Ikuta refers to as the Afterlife, revealing the physical essence of what the Sweet Peas used to be.
